Little Alchemy review
Little Alchemy is a puzzle game designed by Recloak. Since being published, it has quickly become a popular game in its genre and continues to attract new players on a daily basis. You can download Little Alchemy for your Android or iOS smartphone and see how quickly you can progress in this game.
Simple yet highly addictive
When you read the description of this game, it may not sound too exciting but don’t let this fool you. The main goal of the game is to combine various elements that can be found in nature and produce new objects. For instance, you start with basic elements, such as fire, air, earth, and water that look like icons on the screen. By combining any two elements, you will obtain a new one that can be then combined with other elements in its turn. In some cases, certain elements don’t go together. In others, you get something. To combine different elements, you just need to drag one on top of another with your finger – it’s easy and quick.
If you want to get cheese, you need time and milk. If you want to obtain ash, you will need to combine energy and volcano. Obviously, the game is not scientifically accurate but it is extremely creative.
You can easily play this game on the go with just one hand, which is convenient when you are on the go. When it comes to languages, it is currently available in English, French, Portuguese, Polish, Spanish, Dutch, German, Norwegian and Swedish.
Numerous combinations can be obtained
At the moment, you can come up with 560 elements when playing this game. You can get really creative and come up with unusual elements, such as aliens and unicorns. At the bottom of the screen, you can see a counter. You can immediately tell how many elements out of 560 you have already created. Also, you can adjust what you see on the display – either all created elements or only the ones that can be further combined. When you achieve certain final elements, they cannot be used anymore.
Another thing to mention in this Little Alchemy review is its visual content. The game is based on the use of icons for different elements and is extremely simple in its design. You get a neutral grey background on which different icons are located and you can clearly see the results of combinations. While the game is not fancy or elaborate in terms of design, it’s still captivating and you don’t even notice how minimalistic it actually is.
